

Master of Christian Studies (MCS) in Marketplace Transformation
Objective
To equip the participants with solid biblical & theological teaching as well as holistic training, thus they are able to effectively engage their workplace and bring to life the gospel’s unique power to transform people to seek the good of this city and beyond.
The programme consists of Foundational, Core and Elective Courses, with 12 courses in total, accounting for 36 credits.
The programme can be completed in full time for 1.5 year or 3 years part-time (up to 5 years).
Learning Outcome
The participants will be adequately equipped in the following six areas: Biblical and Theological Foundation, Calling, Ethics, Spirituality, Evangelism and Pastoral care. These are fundamental for marketplace ministry/transformation through a variety of instructional methods which include interactive lectures, intense small group discussions and projects, reflection, integration, spiritual practice, case studies, site visits, etc.

A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, college or seminary
Requirements for Graduation
Students should have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above, and have passed all courses required.
Remarks

Students with previous equivalent academic credits may apply for credit transfer. (However, do not exceed 50% of the total credits required for the program.)

Survey of the Bible (BS5003) required if Bible Knowledge Entrance Test is not passed.
